DE__Das Aether Matcha-Set wurde in enger Kooperation mit und für das Berliner Lokal Aether Space entworfen und produziert. Unter dem Motto „No excess, just essence.“ konzentriert sich Aether Space auf hochwertige Zutaten, ungewöhnliche, zugleich ausbalancierte Aromen und räumt der Zubereitung den höchsten Stellenwert ein. Innenarchitektin und Gründerin Birke Sila Flügel hat mit dem Aether Space einen zeitlosen und atmosphärische Ort geschaffen, der sich ganz dem multisensorischen Genuss und dem Ritual der Matcha-Zubereitung verschrieben hat.

Das Aether Matcha Set besteht aus einer großzügigen Schale mit Ausguss für die Zubereitung, einer Trinkschale, die mit 240ml Volumen und ihrer organischen Struktur perfekt in der Hand liegt und einem Matcha-Besenhalter, der mit einer breiten, asymmetrischen Basis dem Bambusbesen einen idealen und zugleich ästhetischen Aufbewahrungsort gibt.

Die Objekte des Aether-Matcha-Sets sind in zwei Farben erhältlich: Ein zartes, leicht lilafarbenes Blau erinnert an die Schattierungen eines Abendhimmels und ein zurückhaltender Creme-Ton erzählt von feinem Sand eines unbestimmten, mediterranen Ortes. Beide Farbtne lassen die ruhige Stimmung des Aether Space in den Gefäßen und Objekten des Matcha-Sets wiederklingen.

Die Objekte werden aus einer speziell angesetzten Mixtur feinster deutscher und französischer Porzellane gefertigt. Im Herstellungsprozess werden die Massen dafür händisch mit keramischen Farbkörpern angereichert und durchgefärbt; so erhalten die Objekte charakteristische Farbigkeit.

ENG__The Aether Matcha Set was designed and produced in close cooperation with and for the Berlin restaurant Aether Space. Following the idea of ‘No excess, just essence,’ Aether Space focuses on high-quality ingredients and bold yet balanced flavours, placing the utmost importance on preparation. Interior designer and founder Birke Sila Flügel has created a timeless and atmospheric space, which is entirely dedicated to multisensory enjoyment and the ritual of matcha preparation.

The Aether Matcha Set consists of a generous bowl with a spout for preparation, a drinking bowl holding 240ml volume and with its organic structure fits perfectly the hand, and a matcha whisk holder, which with its wide, asymmetrical base provides an ideal and aesthetic storage place for the bamboo whisk.

The artefacts of the Aether Matcha Set are available in two colours: a delicate, slightly lilac blue bringing the hues of an evening sky to the objects and a subtle cream tone evoking the fine sand of an undefined Mediterranean location. Both colours catch the atmospheric tranquility at Aether Spaceand transfer them to the artefacts of the matcha set.

All objects are made from a specially formulated mixture of the finest German and French porcelain. During the manufacturing process, the masses are enriched with ceramic colourants and dyed throughout by hand, giving the objects their characteristic colouring.
